Blue Screen of Death – Dell OptiPlex 755 – WinXP

Had this issue a couple of weeks ago – had reformatted a drive and was installing Windows XP onto a Dell OptiPlex 755.  Kept getting a BSOD as Windows was in its initial install screen.  Ends up you need to change a quick setting in the BIOS and all is well.

It was frustrating until I was finally able to Google the issue properly.  Luckily it was a quick fix after a frustrating hour of trying different XP boot CD’s, &tc.
